Do Translated Beings Die?

In the scriptures sometimes there appear to be verses that contradict each other. Death is one of those topics. I will show two sets of verses that appear to contradict and then show a correct understanding of them.

All Die
It is stated in several scriptures that every person who has, does, and will ever live on this earth will die.
1 Cor. 15:22 - For as in Adam all die.
Job 34:15 - All flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn again unto dust.
2 Ne. 9:6 - Death hath passed upon all men.
Alma 12:24,27 - And we see that death comes upon mankind ... it was appointed unto men that they must die.

Apparent Contradiction
In these verses it appears that a few people will not die.
1 Corinthians 15:51-3 - We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal; must put on immortality.
D&C 43:31-2 - ... then cometh the end of the earth. And he that liveth in righteousness shall be changed in the twinkling of an eye, and the earth shall pass away so as by fire.
3 Nephi 28:8 - And ye shall never endure the pains of death; but when I shall come in my glory ye shall be changed in the twinkling of an eye from mortality to immortality; and then shall ye be blessed in the kingdom of my Father.

False Contradiction Explained
D&C 101:31 - And when he dies he shall not sleep, that is to say in the earth, but shall be changed in the twinkling of an eye, and shall be caught up, and his rest shall be glorious.
D&C 63:51 - Wherefore, children shall grow up until they become old; old men shall die; but they shall not sleep in the dust, but they shall be changed in the twinkling of an eye.
D&C 42:46 - And it shall come to pass that those that die in me shall not taste of death, for it shall be sweet unto them;

In conclusion, all people will die, even those that live on earth during the millennium, even Moses, Elijah, the city of Enoch, Alma the Younger, Nephi, the son of Helaman, the three Nephites, John the Beloved and anyone else who has been translated. Currently, everyone else who has died, has slept in the earth. Not everyone that dies will taste of the pains of death, yet they still die. So death does not require tasting pain and it does not require sleeping in the earth; likewise, changing in the twinkling of an eye is not a way to circumvent death, it is the fast track from death to resurrection.
